I have had a pretty exciting weekend. On Thursday I saw the Pantheon, on Friday a few of us piled a ton of toilet paper in front of our RA's door, and I saw my first ballet on Saturday. The ballet was called Carmen. I think it is famous?
Then came the ballet. The dancing was good, but overall it did not impress me. The story was hard to falow and the dancing was slightly erotic. I won't say I hated it, but I think that once was enough. At least I can say I saw a ballet in Rome.
Before heading to the ballet a bunch of us got dressed up and then the girls wanted to take pictures. It was like prom without the whole date part. Taking pictures is not my favorite part, but I am glad we did it so I can have all the memories of that elegant Saturday evening.
The picture taking did come to an end when we realized it was time for dinner. To eat we went to a very good restaurant called L'Insalata Ricca. The pasta was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I can not think of any Italian restaurant that does not have a relaxing atmosphere.
