Riding the Knight Bus

Every day in Rome is an epic adventure. Each new day is a surprise. What surprise did I encounter today?
Well, today some people from the group and I were taking a night tour of the city. The city was absolutely amazing at night! We saw the Coloseum, the Vittorio Emmanuele Monument, Campa di Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, La Fonta di Trevi, and La Piazza di Spagna. It was a notte bella!

That was until we encountered a surprise. I like to compare it to a certain event from Harry Potter in the Prison of Azkaban. When Harry, in an angry huff, magically inflates his aunt, he runs away to escape expulsion from Hogwarts. He is alone in London at night. Then the magical Knight Bus comes his way. It is a complete surprise. That is what happened to me on the night bus in Rome. As I got on the bus, I heard a man screaming at a black guy. From what I could translate, he was accusing the black guy of stealing and calling him some racist names. It seemed like a drug deal gone awry. Overall it made for a scary busy ride. I would prefer Harry Potter's Knight Bus.
